1. Analysis Modes

Switch between two strategic views using the sidebar buttons:

  • Daytime Pop: Visualizes simple market size based on worker density in each area.
  • Opportunity (Beta): Identifies "Gaps" by calculating Population ÷ (Competitors + 1). This highlights areas with high demand but few existing shops.
2. Competitor Markers & Vending Spots

Blue icons represent existing restaurants. The analysis evaluates potential within a 300m walking radius of each area center. In addition, Truck icons (🚚) indicate available vending spots for your food truck.

Opportunity Score Formula:
Score = Daytime Population ÷ (Competitors + 1)

※ Analysis radius is optimized to 300m to identify high-density "hotspots" for food truck operations.

Note on Data Scope:
The current dataset focuses on specific high-density zones in Tokyo. It does not cover all 23 wards entirely. Market potential is calculated based on available restaurant data only.

■ Population Analysis Circles: The colored circles representing "Daytime Pop" indicate the market potential and density of people in that specific area. Please note: These circles DO NOT represent confirmed parking or legal vending zones. They are heatmaps for business potential analysis only.
■ Specific Vending Spots: Only locations marked with the Truck icon (🚚) have been identified as potential or confirmed vending spaces. Always verify the specific spot's availability and permissions.
■ Data Scope: The current dataset focuses on Ota and Shinagawa wards to ensure high-speed processing and data accuracy. It does not cover all 23 wards of Tokyo at this stage.
